Ministry Related Statistics

According to a Barna Group survey of protestant pastors in March 2022 42% of pastors have recently seriously considered quitting full time ministry. The following are some of the reasons:

• 52% Immense job related stress
• 43% Feelings of loneliness and isolation
• 38% Political divisions
• 29% Negative effect the role has had on their family
• 29% Lack of optimism of the future of their church
